Welcome December

My last post got delayed a bit... :D so for this one, I'm gonna actually write something!

Tomorrow is the first day of December. Christmas is coming and I'm pretty excited for it! ^^ Although it's going to be a little sad 'cause I'm not with my family, and for me Christmas is specifically a family holiday. But, of course I have my German family here and I know I'm going to get a packet from Finland again :)

When it comes to Christmas, there's always many traditions. Every country has their own and every family too. And of course all the delicious Christmas pastries and chocolates and food overall. I'm waiting to get to know, and taste, everything what belongs to a traditional German Christmas. (Okay, I've already started all the Christmas stuff with baking and visiting Weihnachtsmarkt in Bremen, and we have decorated our house a bit too.)

Merry Christmas in different languages

Hmm...there was yet something I wanted to write about... Oh yeah! We visited the zoo in Osnabrück with my host-mom. It was pretty cool. :) We were lucky and the weather was really good that day, not too cold and the sun was shining. We were also at movies on one night. I'm fan of the Hunger Games and now that the first part of Mockingjay came out, of course I had to see it! Here in Germany all the films are dubbed in German (I don't think that's so cool... xD) so I was a little afraid that I couldn't watch the film until it comes in DVD, but luckily, in Osnabrück they show it once a week as the original version so we headed there. :) It was pretty good I think.

This guy has pretty awesome horns

The kids were having fun

These two were so cute
the other one was a bit...weird xD

Last week I was sick, again, and had to stay at home for a couple of days. Now I know what all the exchange students are saying, when they tell that they became homesick as they were ill. I think my homesickness had been growing for awhile, and when I didn't have anything to do and just laid in bed, it really hit me. It was bad....but I spoke with my host-mom about things and it really helped, I felt right away much better. Now I'm just gonna keep in mind that whenever I'm beginning to feel sad, I just have to find something to do!

AND!! in two weeks I'm going to have my first kung fu test, so that I can have finally my first belt and learn then new technics.
